As the ninth child in a family of ten siblings, I am no stranger to life's challenges and disruptions. I was born in a small town in Pennsylvania, very near to where both of my dear parents were born and raised. I have been a resident of Santa Rosa, California since the mid-1970s. With its ideal combination of urban and pastoral surroundings, Santa Rosa has allowed me to enjoy the benefits of a smaller community in the midst of incomparable beauty. The spectacular hillsides and the wonders of the ocean allow constant opportunities for relaxation and exercise.
I've been blessed by the opportunity to work and live in beautiful Sonoma County for most of my life, and I am an active, involved member of my community. In my free time, I enjoy yoga, walking, gardening, and hiking. While I devote a great deal of myself to my psychotherapy practice, I also dedicate substantial time and energy to writing, reading, and the maintenance of my many extraordinary friendships.
